VinSanto – Pieve di Campoli – 2006
This Vin Santo from the Pieve di Campoli company comes from vineyards located in the province of Florence, in the historic Chianti Classico area.
It is obtained from a blend of Malvasia del Chianti and Trebbiano Toscano grapes, harvested and placed on reeds for drying. It is the result of slow fermentation in oak barrels and refinement in the same containers for at least 48 months.
Golden yellow in color with amber reflections, it opens on the nose with an intense and broad aroma of dried fruit, dates and caramel. In the mouth it is harmonious and soft, with a velvet-like consistency.
Ideal both as an aperitif and in the company of spicy cheeses. Recommended to have with some Cantuccini biscuits for dunking.
