Polenta Taragna is typical of Valtellina (Lake Como) as well as the valleys of Bergamo and Brescia. Its most characteristic trait is its dark colour, due to the use of buckwheat flour that’s mixed with maize.

Delicious when mixed with regional cheeses or baked to make sweet or savoury cakes.
