When you choose a time and date to book a table and click ‘next’ up to 2 options could/should appear:
- ‘Main Menu Dining’;
- ‘Drinks Only’.
You will need to select one option to proceed. If one of the above options doesn’t appear, then unfortunately this means there is limited availability for that option and you will need to try a different time or date. However, you can contact us directly and we will do our best to see if we can find any extra availability for you.
After making an online reservation – You will receive an email confirmation. If you haven’t receive an email confirmation, please check your spam folders or contact the restaurant directly as your booking may not be confirmed.

Our menu offerings have changed to individual pricing, although, on a Friday or Saturday evening a minimum of 2 courses is required. Please view our menu before making a reservation.
A small amount of our tables are sold twice – at different time slots, on any given day, so please keep in mind there might be a return time of 2 hours, if you require longer you can make a request by contacting the restaurant directly.
If you can’t find a reservation time available online, please call the restaurant and we will try our very best to accommodate you.
We occasionally ask for credit card details or deposits to secure reservations. We use a third party company ‘Stripe’ to store these details and they are 100% PCI compliant.
In the event that we ask for card details to secure a reservation, we will not charge your card unless the event of a ‘no show’, ‘late cancellation’ or a ‘last minute reduction’ in party numbers within 24 hours of your booking. For groups of 10 guests or more, 1 weeks notice is required should you wish to make a full cancelation.
In any of these events, your card will be charge £25.00 per person or 50% of the set menu will be debited, whichever is higher. Deposits are non- refundable.
For reservations of ‘drinks only’, a fee of £10 per person will be debited from your card in the event of a ‘no show, ‘late cancelation’ or ‘reduction in numbers’.
Please note that in the event of being charged a fee, payments could take up to 30 days to process.
A discretionary 12.5% service charge is automatically added to bills of 5 or more guests. 100% of gratuities go directly to the staff, including the kitchen team.
Should you require information on allergens, please email firstname.lastname@example.org before your arrival to the restaurant. Upon arrival to Shambles please make yourself known to a member of our team should you have any special dietary or allergen requirements. We cannot guarantee meals and drinks will be free of any allergens or allergen traces.
