Not forgetting our fresh pasta is handmade on site daily, by Lina our very own Italian ‘Pasta Granny’.

Full Venue Hire For those looking for complete exclusivity, Shambles is available for full venue hire on a minimum spend basis for lunch, dinner or for all day. With a seated capacity of up to 140 guests and standing capacity of up to 250, we can cater for everything from elegant sit-down dinners to large drinks receptions. Minimum spend requirements vary by day, service and season.
Stage Area A cosy semi-private space within the restaurant seating up to 20 guests across two tables – perfect for smaller groups who want a touch of privacy without full venue hire. No hire fee or minimum spend.
Garden Balcony Terrace Our most romantic outdoor space, the Garden Balcony Terrace overlooks our iconic 80-year-old wisteria pergola and seats up to 26 guests. A private, no hire fee space with no minimum spend – perfect for birthdays, baby showers, naming ceremonies and summer celebrations. If the weather turns, we’ll always have a back-up plan.
Garden Room A stunning semi-outdoor space with a retractable roof, sides and heating for the cooler months. Seats up to 48 guests and available for private hire with a hire fee of £150 and no minimum spend. Perfect for autumn and winter gatherings from February to April and September to November.
Dining Room Our bright and characterful main indoor dining room features original oak beams, exposed brick walls, a roaring open fireplace and artwork from local artists. Seats up to 43 guests and ideal for private dinners, receptions and corporate events. Minimum spend requirements apply on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sundays.

Our Grade II listed building, wisteria-draped garden and warm Italian hospitality create an atmosphere that is rustic, intimate and utterly unforgettable. We host weddings on a full venue hire basis with bespoke menus, live music options and a team who genuinely care about making your day perfect.
The Bar Located at the front of our Grade II listed premises, our fully serviced bar is a warm, inviting and lively space that effortlessly sets the mood for any celebration. With original wooden beams, local artwork, comfortable seating and a bar stocked with everything from cocktails, craft Beer, 100+ wines to rare grappa, it’s a space that does the talking for you. The bar seats up to 50 guests scattered or accommodates up to 70 standing. For exclusive use on Friday and Saturday evenings a minimum of 40 guests is required, with a minimum of 25 guests over the rest of the week. There is no hire fee. Live Music can also be arranged.
Garden Balcony Terrace For those looking for something al fresco, our Garden Balcony Terrace is one of the prettiest outdoor spaces in the Richmond borough. A private raised terrace overlooking our iconic 80-year-old wisteria pergola, it seats up to 26 guests or accommodates up to 55 standing – ideal for summer drinks receptions, garden parties and celebrations under the open sky. There is no hire fee and no minimum spend. Should the weather turn, we’ll always have an alternative space ready to keep your guests comfortable.

We understand the importance of honouring your loved ones and our warm and inviting family-run restaurant allows family and friends to gather and celebrate cherished memories in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

Our bar can accommodate up to 50 seated or 70 standing, while our Garden Balcony Terrace offers a private outdoor space overlooking our iconic wisteria pergola, with an alternative indoor space available should the weather turn. Total capacity is 140 seated or 250 standing.
